WHAT WOULD YOU DO
IF YOU HAD
ONE MONTH TO LIVE?
Would any of the priorities in your life change? Having had the opportunity to watch some people walk through the last days of their lives, I've noticed that people's attitudes often change when they know their end is near. Some of them will do the things they've always wanted to do, or say the things they've always wanted to say. Some will ask for forgiveness and offer forgiveness.
Most of the regrets that people have at the end of their lives have to do with relationships: either things that they've said, or perhaps left unsaid to the people closest to them. People on their deathbeds aren't likely to wish they had spent more time at the office, but rather that they had spent more time with family and friends.
This weekend as we continue our series "One Month To Live" we'll look at what it means to "Love Completely." Instead of waiting until we're in the last month of our lives, we'll look at some ways in which we can prioritize relationships now so that we can begin to love one another as God has loved us.
Embracing the journey,
Pastor Rick
