 Who is Your Shepherd?
The 23rd Psalm begins with words that are familiar to most of us --"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." No sooner do we hear those words than a problem reveals itself. Everybody likes the second part of the verse --we all want our needs provided for-- but many of us would just as soon skip the first part, that part about making the Lord our shepherd.
The question for each of us is this: Assuming the Lord is your savior, is He also your Shepherd? Do you want the promise of the second half of the verse bad enough to get the first half right?
This weekend, as we continue our teaching series on the names of God, we're looking at "Jehovah Rohi: The Lord Is My Shepherd." I hope you can join us Saturday at 5:30PM or Sunday at 9AM or 11AM.

 JAMPAC PERFORMANCE
After a great week of JAMPAC -Jesus And Me Performing Arts Camp this week, the kids are excited to perform their musical for family and friends. Come support our JAMPAC kids tonight (Friday, July 1) at 6:15PM in the Worship Center, as they present their musical "Happily Forever After". Everyone is welcome to come, reach out to these community kids and their families, and have some fun! |
 BRAZIL TEAM 2011
Our Mini-Missions Team to Brazil leaves this Saturday, July 2 to serve the people of Sao Paulo for 2 weeks. Please be praying for the team members as they depart. Ask God to give them safe travel, unite the team for the work He has for them, and prepare them to serve in His name. Oh and don't forget to pray that all their luggage arrives in Brazil with them! |
 BBQ FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
ERBC is partnering with EF Homestay to provide dinner and games for 120 European high school students visiting the US this summer. Help us prepare and serve an all-American BBQ on Thursday, July 14 at 6PM in the ERBC parking lot, and show the love of Jesus to these young men and women. We've got a lot of fun summer activities planned for our youth (middle & high school) this summer (including camp at Hume Lake).
