FINANCIAL...PEACE?
Do you know what an 'Oxymoron' is? I'll give you a clue. It doesn't have anything to do with college students in our community.
Webster defines 'oxymoron' as a figure of speech which produces an incongrous, seemingly self-contradictory effect, such as 'deafening silence' or 'rolling stop' or 'jumbo shrimp.'
Sadly, 'financial peace' is a term that a lot of people feel belongs in the category of oxymoron. The reason is that when they think of 'finances', the last thing that comes to mind is 'peace.'

This weekend we're concluding our Pirates series by looking at what the Word of God says about "Finding Financial Peace."
I hope you can join us Saturday evening at 5:30PM or set your clocks forward before you go to bed Saturday night and then be with us on Sunday morning at 9AM or 11AM.
Embracing the journey,
Pastor Rick |
