There's no question that one of the greatest gifts God has given us is the gift of friendship. One of the unique things about friendship is that it is something that can bring us great joy and great heartache. In Romans 12, right after the apostle Paul tells us to "rejoice with those who rejoice," he also says we are to "weep with those who weep." (Rom. 12:15)
Paul knew that we were created for community and that, when we get close to others, it means that we'll share not only their joy, but also their pain.
This weekend we're concluding our series "Accelerate: 6 Habits To Speed Up Your Spiritual Growth" by looking at "The Habit of Friendship."
We're also asking you to solidify your desire to make this a year of spiritual growth by turning in your completed commitment card at any one of our three weekend worship services. I look forward to seeing you Saturday at 5:30 or Sunday morning at 9AM or 11AM.
