While Pastor Rick is away on sabbatical, ERBC is proud to welcome some special speakers, coming from near and far, to share about what God is doing around the world and how we can be a part of Growing God's Kingdom.
This weekend, we're excited to welcome Steve Rowe, our missionary to Brazil, back to share another message with us: "Growing God's Kingdom -One Life at a Time".

 SENIORS LUNCHEON
Beginning Thursday, September 2, we will be hosting a Seniors Luncheon on the first Thursday of every month. It will be a time for food, fun and fellowship together. We will be collecting a $5 donation to cover costs. If you would like to attend, please call Hortensia in the church office: 323-255-4611. |
 SUNDAY LUNCH
Join us for lunch following the 11AM worship service next Sunday, September 5. We'll be serving up a summer picnic with sandwiches quiche, salads and homemade pies for dessert. We're also having a pie baking contest! Sign-up this weekend, if you'd like to enter your homemade pie. Sunday Lunch is free and everyone is welcome! |
 POSITIVE PARENTING SERIES
BEGINS SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 12
Would you like to solve family struggles without tears or yelling? Increase the peace in your home. ERBC is hosting "Positive Parenting," a 10 week series, beginning Sunday, September 12.  BACK TO SCHOOL BASH
Hey kids, let's celebrate the end of summer and the beginning of a new school year! Spend a fun Friday night with us, September 17, 6-8:30PM, in the Grow Zone Room! We're going to have lots of fun hanging out, having dinner, making a craft, playing games... This event is for kids K-6th Grade, $3 per child. Pre-registration is appreciated.

 BAPTISM
Baptism is an important step Jesus asks every believer to take. If you are a follower of Christ and you have not been baptized yet, we encourage you to find out more. Our next baptism service will be held during the 11AM worship service on Sunday, September 19.

WELCOME NEW MEMBERS
Last weekend, we welcomed these new members into ERBC's church family: John Fusch, Hector Morales, and Rene & Erika Diamante. These individuals completed the ERBC Membership Class and we're excited to have them as a part of our church family.
