Spring On Over To the Kitsap Peninsula... Early Spring is a wonderful time to get away to the Kitsap Peninsula for the day, night or nice long weekend, especially during Spring Break with the kids. There are lots of family fun activities to capture their imagination.
On Bainbridge Island explore the Kids Discovery Museum.
In Poulsbo, learn about 100 species of marine plants and animals found in our Puget Sound waters at the Poulsbo Marine Science Center. In Keyport, learn about the wonders of the ocean world at the Naval Undersea Musuem. Escape into the magical world of puppetry at the Valentetti Puppet Museum & Evergreen Children's Theater in Bremerton. Check out cool live critters at Bremerton's Bug Museum. From the Port Orchard ferry dock, climb aboard the Carlisle II foot ferry for a fun excursion with the whole family to Bremerton and back.
