______________________________ Bremerton Kitsap Historical Museum Exhibit Fleet Field: Homestead to National Airport Featuring images and artifacts from the KCHS collection, this historical exhibit spans the history of the airfield which later became Kitsap County Airport, and ultimately Bremerton National Airport. Photos trace the gradual development of the property since its original owners, the inaugural airmail flight of 1938 (photo right), the 1947 Kitsap County Air Show, and airport businesses. Learn more
