Thanks to everyone who attended the Destination Kitsap Peninsula Tourism Roundtable 2: Partners, Packages, & Promotions on September 22 at Baymont Inn & Suites in Bremerton. It was another successful event that brought together more than 80 government officials, business leaders and professionals. Plans are already underway for Roundtable 3 in Mid-January. Stay tuned!

Autumn has arrived and we invite you to celebrate the fall season right here on the Kitsap Peninsula. October is a Pumpkin Kidswonderful time of year to celebrate the harvest season and enjoy the day, or an entire weekend on the beautiful Kitsap Peninsula! You'll find bushels of family and kid friendly activities including the ever popular corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and farm tours. For something very special head to South Kitsap Regional Park on Saturday, October 29, and hop aboard the Kitsap Live Steamers Ghost Train. Little SteamersThese real live steamer trains travel on 4,000 foot track through the haunted park delighting riders of all ages. Make it a fun family weekend and check into the Comfort Inn in Port Orchard and treat yourself to dinner at Amy's on the Bay, The Baymont Inn & Suites in Bremerton, and Oxford Suites in Silverdale are both centrally located to lots of haunting Halloween activities. Bremerton Symphony presents  

TheStarcevich Great Romantics

The Bremerton Symphony Association's 2011-2012 season brings passionate orchestral and choral classics to life. The first concert, The Great Romantics will include Brahms Piano Concerto #1 and Tchaikovsky Symphony #2.  Sasha Starcevich, international performer and piano soloist will play. Starcevich has given recitals in New York's Carnegie Hall, Moscow's Tchaikovsky Hall, Windsor Castle, and in London's Wigmore Hall. Concert held at the Bremerton High School Performing Arts Center. TPoulsbo Marathonhe course travels along rural, woodsy roads, the beautiful shoreline of Liberty Bay and through Poulsbo's picturesque Front Street with its lovely shops, cute neighborhoods, and beautiful Waterfront Park. Spooky 12K & Kids Trail Race! 

Starting and finishing in Port Gamble, the hills aren't the only scary part of this race! Dress up for this one, with the best costume contest to follow the race. The spooky one miler is free and for kids only. Run into the woods and follow the trail to see the old bear's den before running back to town! Learn more.
