Spring On Over To the Kitsap Peninsula...

Now is a wonderful time to get away to the Kitsap Peninsula for the day, night or nice long weekend. A favorite attraction are farmers markets where visitors and locals can enjoy spring bouquets, local produce, hand-crafted gifts, artisan breads, and other treats.  Stroll down main streets and historic towns lined with shops, marinas and waterfront trails and boardwalks.

A true tourist is always busy working up an appetite and thirst and we have plenty of places to satisfy your taste buds. BremBarThe Bremerton Bar & Grill, scheduled to open downtown on April 18, is the newest addition to the family of Neighborhood Bar & Grills. If you're sailing over from Seattle, drop anchor for the night...or weekend at the beautiful Bremerton Harborside Marina and stroll on over for a fresh burger and brew.

If you're sailing over on the world famous Washington State Ferry, stop at Bainbridge Island's longtime favorite, the famous OaktableStreamliner Diner. An appetite-pleasing stop in Kingston is The Oak Table Cafe and in Poulsbo, head to Sheila's Portside Restaurant & Bar for their classic local home-styled breakfast. In Hansville, discover the new eatery and gathering place, Cup of Joy cafe.

While visiting shops and galleries in historic Port Gamble, breakfast and lunch are served at the Port Gamble General Store. In Old Town Silverdale, Monica's Waterfront Bakery & Cafe dishes up mouth-watering fresh baked delights and fair trade java.
In scenic Seabeck on the shores of Hood Canal, Seabeck Pizza is a local favorite anytime.

With so much to see, do and explore, now is a great time to while away a relaxing weekend. Nmorganhillestled between Hood Canal and Poulsbo is Morgan Hill Retreat, a quiet B&B. The ultimate weekend getaway is Alderbrook Resort & Spa in Union which was just named best resort in Western Washington by King 5's Evening Magazine. Oxford Suites in Silverdale offers waterfront rooms and the Bainbridge Island Best Western Plus Suites is an easy walk to dozens of charming shops.  In Gig Harbor, enjoy a stay at the Wesley Inn & Suites and take a waterfront tour with Destiny Harbor Tours
