March 13 - Downtown Bremerton Get lucky at St. Patrick's Day Parade! 
Forget the end of the rainbow, make your own luck in Bremerton. Have your picture taken as a Leprechaun and kiss the Brem-Blarney Stone downtown - all that after you watch the 20th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. There'll be plenty of Irish pride strolling through the streets, bagpipe music for the ears followed by music in the park. After the festivities, enjoy fine dining at Anthony's on the waterfront. |

 Get charmed by the international ambassadors of Irish music, the "Irish Rovers," at the Admiral Theatre! The Rovers were at the top of charts in the '80s and they haven't lost their timeless ability to deliver an old fashioned rollicking and rousing Irish performance. Cheers! |

March all month - Port of Brownsville Tour a Tall Ship!
Come see a real beauty at the Port of Brownsville: Schooner Lavengro, a Tall Ship that recently made Kitsap County its new home. The proud Biloxi schooner was once part of a fleet that sailed the Gulf of Mexico, harvesting oysters and shrimp. You can feel like you're touching history when you tour this beautiful craft, built in 1927 and used in World War II by the Coast Guard. Free public sails out of Brownsville on Schooner Lavengro are offered regularly and fill fast weeks in advance, but it can be chartered for day excursions, special meeting place, or just to tour the ship. |

March various dates - Kingston Native Plant classes at Stillwaters Environmental Center
If you'd rather be inspired first-hand, Kingston is the place to be in March. The Stillwaters Education Center will host a four-session native plant workshop starting March 9. Topics will include an overview of native plants, estuaries, landscaping and more. Stillwaters is located on eight acres of wetlands ecosystem and is a leader in environmental education - what better way to learn about native plants but from the pros? |
