Brochure Rack in Williston – We are in the process of finalizing placement of a brochure rack in a Target Logistics man camp in Williston. To place a brochure in the rack you must be a member of YCLA, have 200 brochures available initially, and the cost is $100 per year for placement, payable to the YCLA. The expense is to cover cost of the rack and ongoing placement of brochures. If you would like a slot, contact Shelli as soon as possible. There will be limited spaces available.
Openings on TBID Board – Attn: All YCLA Hoteliers. Two current members’ terms expire the end of June. The positions that are opening up include our smallest hotel size category and the mid-size. YCLA has made recommendations to the mayor in the past, but it is up to him to appoint members and he is not required to be cognizant of hotel size when making the appointments.
To apply, fill out a city application which can be found on the city website. In addition, if you are not the owner of the hotel, you will need a letter from ownership indicating that you have their permission to represent the property on the board. All application materials must be sent to Mayor Tom Hanel at City Hall no later than June 8, 2012. In addition, please copy Steve Wahrlich (Chairperson of the TBID Board of Directors) on all materials sent to the mayor.
Call Shelli or Steve if you have any questions.
YCLA Election of Officers – Are you interested in serving the YCLA in an executive role? New elections will take place this June.
