  • NEW!  The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) protects the privacy of student records.  If you do not want information about your child included in a public directory, please sign and return the attached form by Friday, September 28. If you have already returned the form for the 2012-2013 school year, you do not have to do so again.

  • The Department of Education has initiated a campaign titled The Right Prescription for New Jersey to be observed during the week of September 24-29. This campaign is in partnership with several agencies to raise awareness of the problem of prescription drug abuse and to promote responsible management of prescription drugs. In response to the ongoing, high-risk behavior among adolescents, this campaign promotes a five-step challenge. During the week, there will be statewide media and educational events targeted to parents.
Bedwell Home and School Association:
  • NEW! Bedwell Book Fair - Help us turn the Bedwell Library into a full-fledge bookstore! The Bedwell Book Fair runs Oct. 30 through Nov 7. This popular weeklong event needs many volunteers to ensure its success. Please consider giving a couple of hours of your time.  Signup here.
  • NEW!  F.R.E.S.H. News - There are a lot of new things going on in the cafeteria this year!

  • NEW! The First Box Top Contest is underway!  Please start sending in those clipped Box Tops to school.  Have them marked with the teacher's name and grade in order for his/her class to get credit.  Bedwell is striving to collect 30% more Box Tops than last year!  Learn about other ways to earn Box Tops at http://www.boxtops4education.com/
  • Lunchroom Volunteers: Volunteers are needed daily to assist the Kindergartners and 1st Graders in the lunchroom and to accompany the students to recess.   • Bedwell Families -Our school directory is going green (and virtual)! This means that our directory will be available in all Internet devices and an application on Smart Phones.

  • BES/BMS Autumn Harvest Fundraiser- Please join us for a fabulous night out on Friday, October 12th, 2012 for our 2nd Annual "Autumn Harvest Fundraiser" at the Somerset Hills Country Club.  This event was sold out last year. Limited tickets are available and will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.  Tickets on sale now!
