Guidance Department News New ATTENTION JUNIORS AND SENIORS: VIRTUAL ACADEMY AT BHS
There are still a few spots available in the "Virtual Academy at BHS" - an opportunity for students to enroll in online courses that we do not offer in the Program of Studies. Spots are reserved for rising seniors and juniors. The information packet and application form are on the Guidance webpage on shsd.org - you will be able to find an overview of the program, the requirements, a list of available courses, and an application. Now that you have seen your schedules for the coming school year, you may notice a free period and realize that an additional "online" course will strengthen your academic record and/or allow you to pursue an interest. Please note that in order to enroll in the Virtual Academy, you must have a free period in your day. If you have questions, please email Mr. Smith (csmith@shsd.org) soon, as spots with the online providers disappear quickly.
