  • Substitute Teacher - $85-$95 per day
  • Paraprofessional $13/hr.

SUMMER HOURS

We will again be modifying the district's hours of operation during the summer months to conserve energy. The district will be open Monday - Thursday with extended hours and will be closed Friday - Sunday. Summer hours will begin on Monday, June 25. The district will resume regular school year hours on Monday, August 27.

Starry Night Treasure Hunt--Monday, August 13 at 5:00-7:00 pm.  Drop in and hunt at your leisure.  No sign-up is needed.  Free family program.

 

Shadow Puppet Theater--Tuesday, August 14 at 1:00 pm.   Hear stories and have fun with shadow puppets. Grades K & up. Free. No sign-up is needed.

 

Become a Jedi Knight--Tuesday, August 14 at 7:00 pm. Train to be a Jedi in this Star Wars celebration.  Grades 1-3.  Registration is required at www.bernardsvillelibrary.org as supplies are limited.  Free. 

 

Fancy Nancy Star Gazer Party--Thursday, August 16 at 10:30 am.  Come in your fancy attire for this star gazer celebration.  PreK-Grade 2.  Free. No sign-up is needed.

 

Ice Cream Party!--Monday, August 20, 6:00-7:00 pm.  Join us as we celebrate the conclusion of our Summer  Reading Program.  Sponsored by the Friends of the Bernardsville Public Library.  Advance sign-up is required.  Free family program.

Community Service Opportunity @ the Library

Did you know that the Bernardsville Library Youth Services Department had 214 volunteers do a total of 1,582 hours this past year? Yes, your student can do their volunteer hours at the library too!!  Have your student (entering grade 6-12) stop by the library to get a volunteer application today.

OUTDOOR MOVIE NIGHT

The movie "Sandlot" & volleyball will be held Thursday August 30th from 7-9:45pm at Miller Lane Park in Bedminster.

Admission is $2 per person.  Children under the age of 3 are free.  Children 13 and older may attend the movie un-chaperoned; pick-up is at 9:45pm sharp.  Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.  See flyer for details.

VACCINES FOR CHILDREN PROGRAM
For all children birth to 18 years who are not covered by health insurance to receive appropriate vaccinations in a timely manner at no cost. The goal is to eliminate vaccine-preventable disease in children. This federally funded, state operated vaccine supply program provides pediatric vaccines at no cost to doctors and health care providers who serve children who might not otherwise be vaccinated due to the inability to pay.
