New VALERIE FUND WALK - TEAM STOMA MIDLIGE
The BHS Key Club will be joining Team Stoma Midlige in the Valerie Fund Walk on Saturday, June 9. We would like to invite any other students and families to join the team or help support the team by logging onto
www.thevaleriefund.org/walk. The money raised from this event will go to support the comprehensive care of children with cancer and blood disorders. For more information, please contact Anne Connor or Megan Dooley.

Next Friday EIGHTH GRADE STUDENT ORIENTATION
On June 1, 2012, 8th grade students will be attending an orientation program at BHS during the school day. Students will be introduced to members of the high school staff and administration while becoming familiar with various aspects of high school life. The following topics will be addressed:
* Policies/Attendance
* Athletic Offerings/sign ups
* Extracurricular offerings/sign ups
* Peer leadership
* Service Learning/guidance
Students will have an opportunity to take a brief tour of the campus and ask questions of our peer leaders during that time. It is our hope that this program will assist students with the transition process and help them to begin their high school experience with confidence and enthusiasm. Click

EIGHTH GRADE PARENT NIGHT
Parents of current 8th grade students are cordially invited to attend our
Eighth Grade Parents Night on June 6, 2012 from 7:00pm - 8:30pm in the PAC at Bernards High School. The presentation will highlight the positive atmosphere, varied extracurricular offerings and expected protocols of the high school. The high school administration will share their philosophy, which will enable new high school students to transition well into the high school and to achieve success once they are here. Parents will also be treated to a tour of the facility following the presentation.
BHS ADOPT-A-SOLDIER
In honor of the tenth anniversary of 9/11, the history department at BHS has adopted a US soldier who is currently stationed in Afghanistan. We will be sending him letters, care packages, etc. For more information click here.
