Hello,
The SHEF Chili Cook-Off is tomorrow night, March 24! Once again, the event will be held in the historic barn at the beautiful Upton Pyne Estate on Bernardsville Mountain. It's a fun evening and all proceeds benefit the students of the Somerset Hills School District. Tickets can be purchased on Friday until 3PM at Bagel Bin or until 6:30PM at Bernardsville Hardware. For additional ticket information please call 908-581-2804.

School News
-IMPORTANT: PLEASE NOTE NEW TIME/DATE! Attention Hunger Games fans! Please join us for a Hunger Games Movie Release Event during lunch periods on Monday, March 26th in the BMS Library. There will be contests, trivia and more to celebrate this popular series. Dress in costume or bring your Hunger Games books and gear. Also, to help fight HUNGER, in honor of the Hunger Games, please bring in canned goods to donate at the event, which will help feed the hungry in our own community. One item= ten minutes of Community Service Credit. Please print this permission slip and hand it in to Miss MacGorman by Monday, March 26th in order to participate. "Happy Hunger Games! And may the odds be ever in your favor!"
- Girls on Track! Girls on Track is now being offered to 5th grade girls this spring! Girls on Track is a 10 week experiential running program. Girls will have fun training for a 5K race and learning about themselves. Please hand in permission slip and check no later than Monday, March 26th.
-The BMS Talent Show is Thursday, March 29th at 7:00 PM in the BMS Cafe. Tickets are $5 and will be sold at the door. Any questions, please contact Ms. Both at kboth@shsd.org.

Guidance Corner: Race to Nowhere presented by Atlantic Health. This program addresses the results of pressure on adolescents in our achievement-based culture. The Department of Psychiatry and Atlantic Behavioral Health are pleased to present the acclaimed film "Race to Nowhere" Thursday, May 10, 2012 from 6 to 9PM at the Morristown Medical Center, Malcolm Forbes Amphitheater. -8th GRADE TRIP. . . Second Payment Due Date of March 15th has passed. Second Payment of $90 or payment in FULL of $190 is required for each student in order to attend the trip in June. Please click on Payment #2 Coupon attached.
-6th and 7th Graders - SAVE THE DATE - Friday, April 20th, 7 -9 PM, WACKY TACKY DANCE! Dress in your wackiest, tackiest outfit ever and get your picture taken in a photo booth with your friends!
