Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchill
A number of years ago, I had the opportunity to visit Morrocco.
One of the things I will always remember about that country was the smell of the exotic spices used in their cooking.
Upon lighting the Wide Churchill, that experience was the first thing that popped into my head, wonderful flavours of North African spices with notes of caramel and leather, wonderful.
As the cigar progressed, the flavors mellowed a bit with the leather becoming a bit more predominant and introducing chocolate notes. The finish was very smooth with a hint of paprika detected.
The popularity of the Churchill by Romeo y Julieta saw the introduction of the Short Churchill (robusto), followed by this wide churchill, that is sort of a super robusto due to the increased ring gauge.
All great cigars and definitely ones to keep in your humidor.
The wrapper on this particular stick was a 3 of 6 in reddish brown and came in at a 6 of 10 for strength.
This cigar easily deserves a rating of 92.

Cuban Cigar Review
Partagas 898
6 3/4 x 43 lonsdale

Partagas 8-9-8
This is a cigar I don't smoke very often since I gravitate to the larger ring sizes, but after smoking this lonsdale, I remember why I enjoy this offering from Partagas.
This is a Lonsdale that shouldn't be missed. The 8-9-8 isn't like the other Partagas cigars in the line. You won't find the usual spiciness often associated with this brand.
You will find this cigar has rich notes of dark chocolate accented with roasted coffee bean and just a hint of vanilla.
This is a medium body cigar. The one I smoked had a medium shade wrapper a 3/6, I enjoyed this sensational cigar with a Melbac wine from Chile it was a winning combination.
My overall rating for this cigar is 91/100
