Cohiba Siglo VI

Cohiba Siglo VI- This cigar is the true king of the Siglo series.
In my opinion this is one of the best regular production cigars you can buy. Smoking this cigar was a truly sublime experience.
I paired the Siglo VI with a Glenfarclas 17 year old single malt. The cigar I chose had a very light wrapper perhaps a 1/6.
I immediately had flavors of rich deep cream with undertones of vanilla with a note of light cedar infused with cocoa and caramel. This cigar was a treat for the senses.
My overall rating for this cigar is 93/100

Partagas
Mille Fleur
5 x 42 petit corona

 Being a long time fan of Partagas, I was looking forward to the Mille Fleur.
I normally reach for the larger sticks, however there is nothing small about this petit corona.
At first inspection, it offers a reddish brown wrapper of 4/6 with a beautiful oily sheen.
The first light introduces the sweet cedar typical to the brand and what I was looking forward to, coupled with white pepper, leather and a hint of cardamom. As the second half of the cigar is explored, the leather influence becomes richer with a dried cremini mushroom influence which continues to the end.
A truly enjoyable smoke that would pair wonderfully with a strong coffee, rich Cognac or a dark beer.
An easy score of 89/100 but this might be low because there was not more of it!

The only way to pull off a Sunday afternoon 'quickie'with their 8-year old son in the apartment was to send him out on the balcony with a Popsicle and tell him to report on all the neighborhood activities.
He began his commentary as his parents put their plan
into operation: 'There's a car being towed from the parking lot,' he shouted. 'An ambulance just drove by!'
'Looks like the Andersons have company,' he called out.
'Matt's riding a new bike!' 'Looks like the Sanders are moving!'
'Jason is on his skate board!'
After a few moments he announced, 'The Coopers are having sex.' Startled, his mother and dad shot up in bed! Dad cautiously called out, 'How do you know they're having sex?'
'Jimmy Cooper is standing on his balcony with a Popsicle.'

How to solve an old guys problems? (Thanks for this Todd!)
After being married for 40 years, I took a careful look at my wife one
day and said to her, "Forty years ago we had a cheap house, a junk car, slept on a sofa bed and watched
a 10-inch black and white TV, but I got to sleep every night with a hot 23-year-old girl.
Now ... I have a $500,000.00 home,
a $35,000.00 car, a nice big bed and a large screen TV, but I'm sleeping with a 63-year-old woman. It seems to me that you're not holding up your side of things."
My wife is a very reasonable woman.
She told me to go out and find a hot

sure that I would once again be living
in a cheap house, driving a junk car,
sleeping on a sofa bed and watching
a 10-inch black and white TV.
Aren't older women great?
