Build a Workforce You Can Be Proud Of - Take on a Trainee

A range of financial incentives are available to eligible employers who take on trainees.

 

Traineeships combine practical experience at work with structured training.   Traineeships are usually in non-trade areas such as hospitality, business, manufacturing and health.  

People of all ages can undertake apprenticeships and traineeships. Most can be undertaken on a full-time or part-time basis - and many can be started at school.  Read More

Free First Aid Kit for Candidates  at 5 Day Safety Rep Course 

Our popular WorkSafe Accredited 5 day Safety Rep Course is next scheduled for Bunbury from the 21st - 25th November 2011.  The cost is $950 and this includes morning and afternoon tea and a light lunch every day.  A comprehensive workbook is provided and candidates may choose to  be assessed against 6 Nationally Recognised units of competence from the Cert III in Occupational Health and Safety.

In the interests of promoting safety all candidates attending a public SHREP course at Combined Team Services receive a free First Aid Kit once all fees are paid.

If you are from the building and construction industry you may be eligible for a Construction Training Fund subsidy for this course.  Call us or go to the the CTF website for more details.

Manny's Blog - Would you like Manny to visit your workplace?

When you book in to a course at Combined Team Services our mannequin Manny is used to practice Confined Space Entry rescues.  Recently Manny visited Mike at Prime Industrial Products at Halifax.  Check out Manny's Blog  to find out more.  If you would like Manny to visit your workplace let us know, this is an opportunity to promote your own services for free through our website.

Cert IV TAE Skill Set Funding -
only 4 places left

 

CTS has secured places for a free training program to provide skill sets designed to improve the training skills of work place supervisors of apprentices and trainees in all industry areas.

Due to demand we have scheduled an extra course in November, however places are limited so call now to secure your place.

iPod Winner

Congratulations to Bruce Jorgensen for correctly answering our quiz question and winning the iPod. The correct answer was Manny.  This was drawn at a BNI breakfast meeting on 6th October in Bunbury by Will Delaporte from Port Legal.

The CTS team has been working hard at Hedland delivering Safe Start and Coaching services for the STS Group.    

Lisa has had the longest flight so far.  "YES" Lisa flew to and from Port Hedland without landing and back again due to technical difficulties. It was rumoured that her luggage was just too heavy!
