DOPPS Expands into China
An important milestone in the China DOPPS Pilot study has just been achieved. Preliminary findings of the China DOPPS study in China were presented to a "standing room only audience" at the Chinese Society of Nephrology Meeting that was held in Nanjing, China on October 10-14, 2011. The first ever China DOPPS Investigator meeting was also held on October 14, 2011. The highly successful meeting was led by Dr. Sylvia Ramirez, with senior investigators from the China DOPPS study as well as dialysis facility medical directors in attendance.
