As Lent begins, so does our series of homilies exploring the major themes of the Apostles' Creed. Join us at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary for a candlelight communion service that includes special music offered by mezzo-soprano soloist Maureen Miller and the Shadyside Strings. Run for Haiti
"Run for Haiti" is registering runners dedicated to running on a marathon relay team on Sunday, May 6, and fundraising for the on-going rebuilding efforts in Haiti. If you are interested, read more here and contact Jeff Schooley, Marathon Task Force chair. Sign up soon to kick off your training with us at the Faith & Fitness Bible study on Wed., Feb. 22, at 7:45 p.m. in the Hulme Room.
Not a runner? There will be plenty of opportunities in May to volunteer to support the runners and the church's mission efforts in Haiti. Learn more here.

Garfield Workday
On Sat., March 3, we will partner with Open Hand Ministries, Garfield Community Farm, and other churches to serve and build relationships with our neighbors in Garfield. Projects can include installing windows, insulation, drywall, painting, and gardening. No experience is necessary. Visit the Hunger and Homelessness MAC in the Sharp Atrium during the Fellowship Hour on Sun., Feb. 26, for information or to sign up.

Meet Your Neighbor Gatherings
During the month of March, the Parish Life Ministry Team is offering opportunities for you to gather with other church members in your area of town. Eight different areas will host potluck gatherings so that you may choose the one closest to you. Please sign up in the reservation area of the Sharp Atrium, or contact the church office.
- South Hills, Mt. Washington: Thurs., March 8, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
- Oakland, Downtown: Fri., March 9, 7:00-9:00 p.m.
- Squirrel Hill: Sat., March 10, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
