Thanksgiving Eve Worship, Food CollectionThanksgiving

ThanksgivingOn Wed., Nov. 23, at 7:00 p.m., join us as we celebrate God's many blessings to us as a congregation in our Thanksgiving Eve service, with Rev. Lynn M. Portz, preaching. Special Thanksgiving bags were distributed last Sunday during the Time of Fellowship and will be available again this Sunday, Nov. 20. A list of suggested donation items is attached to the bags. The bags of food will be received during the Thanksgiving Eve service. If you are unable to attend the service, you may bring the bags to the church office during the week of Thanksgiving. All gifts collected will be delivered to the EECM Food Pantry to replenish their food supply. Questions? Please contact Rev. Todd E. Leach or any member of the Hunger & Homelessness MAC.

Stewardship Reminder 

If you have not submitted your pledge form, please remember to return it soon. Additional pledge cards are located in the narthex and pew racks. We greatly appreciate the many pledge cards that have already been received.

Presents for Western Psychiatric Patients 

Patients' names, with gift ideas, are available after worship on Sunday. Gifts should be wrapped or placed in holiday bags with the patient's identifying number on it and returned to the church by Sun., Dec. 4. Join us on Fri., Dec. 2, at 6:00 p.m. at Bravo on McKnight Road. After dinner, we will shop for the patients. For more information, contact Carla Gedman through the church office

"Living Stones" Holy Land Pilgrimage 

Shadyside Presbyterian Church and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary will co-sponsor a trip to Israel and the West Bank of Palestine from Feb. 28 to March 9, 2012. Please prayerfully consider whether you might join us on this journey. Registration deadline is Sun., Nov. 27. Brochures are available in the narthex and office.
