Mission Marketplace on Sat., Nov. 12
A fair-trade themed event that carries the spirit and 60-year legacy of our church's Christmas bazaar, the Mission Marketplace offers handmade crafts and items provided by our international mission partners. Global food and fair-trade coffee, served in mugs decorated by SPCNS, will be available from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. A bake sale will support the East End Cooperative Ministry, and a book sale will support scholarships for The Neighborhood Academy. This year's Malachi Market opens Nov. 12 and continues through early Advent. Proceeds will be reinvested into the mission partnerships.

A Note from the Kitchen and Parish Life
The Parish Life Ministry Team thanks our bakers for the profusion of pies prepared for Fellowship Hour on Sun., Nov. 6. We enjoyed 53 delicious and beautifully presented pies. What a blessing to habe so many talented bakers! Remaining pie plates, utensils, and trays have been washed and placed on the sideboard in the Parish Hall (along with some items remaining from the September Potluck Picnic). All items can be picked up anytime their owners are in the building. The church would appreciate their being taken home before the Mission Marketplace this weekend if possible, and especially before Advent begins. Thank you! |

Join us on Fri., Dec. 2, at 6:00 p.m. at Bravo on McKnight Road. After dinner, we will shop for the patients. Contact Carla Gedman through the church office for more information. |
