  • Living Stones Pilgrimage Informational Meeting:
    Sun., Nov. 13, at 12:30 p.m. in the Hulme Room. Dr. Barnes will discuss the purpose and highlights of the journey to the Holy Land scheduled for February 28 through March 9, 2012. Registration for the trip is due Nov. 27.
Sunday Parking on Fifth Avenue 

Members and visitors gathering for worship may find it helpful to know that parking is legal on both sides of Fifth Avenue in the area surrounding the intersection with Amberson Avenue on Sunday mornings. By using both sides of the street, the congregation may find parking spaces closer to the church.

New Issue of The Church Mouse Available 

The November issue of The Church Mouse should have arrived in mailboxes, but you can also view the Mouse (in full color) on our website. Click here to access the current issue, or use the quick link in the left sidebar of the Mini-Mouse each week. The next edition of The Church Mouse will be published in December.

Christmas Wreaths from the Nursery School 

SPCNS is taking orders for beautiful 22- to 24-inch Frazier Fir Christmas wreaths. Fill out an order form and submit it to the church office by Nov. 6. Sales benefit the SPCNS Scholarship Fund.

Book Collection for Mission Marketplace 

The Community Kids MAC of SPC is collecting gently used children's books and adult novels to sell at the Mission Marketplace. The sale's proceeds support The Neighborhood Academy book scholarship. Books may be donated to the church through Nov. 5. 

Daylight Saving Time Ends 

Standard Time begins on Sunday, November 6. Please remember to turn your clocks back one hour on Saturday evening, November 5.
