Music in a Great Space Presents the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh 
Come be surrounded by over a century of song in the spiritual splendor of our sanctuary on Sun., Oct. 23, at 4:00 p.m. Under the direction of conductor Betsy Burleigh and accompanied by organists Edward A. Moore and Michael W. Painter, the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh will perform Kodály's Laudes organi, Poulenc's Litanies ŕ la Vierge Noire, and Mendelssohn's Heilig, among other sacred choral selections, including several presented antiphonally. Book Collection for Mission Marketplace
The Community Kids MAC of SPC is collecting gently used children's books and adult novels to sell at the Mission Marketplace, which occurs Saturday, November 12. The sale's proceeds support the annual book scholarship awarded to a graduating Neighborhood Academy senior for his or her first year of college. Books may be donated to the church through November 5. |
