Due to the Pittsburgh Marathon, the Session has
re-scheduled the worship service on Sunday, May 15, to 4:00 p.m.  (Christian Education will not be held at 9:45 a.m., and worship will not be held at 11:00 a.m.)  The Reverend Dr. Andrew Purves of Pittsburgh Theological Seminary will preach at this vespers service.  Nursery care will be provided during afternoon worship.

Also on May 15:

• Potluck Picnic at 5:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall.  Comfortable clothing is encouraged.  Please remember to bring your dish to feed 12.
• Cheer on your pastors, fellow parishioners, and thousands of runners as they run along the marathon route on Sunday morning. A tent will be set up along Fifth Avenue near Amberson to distribute oranges and encourage the runners.  Contact Tricia McGough through the church office to volunteer.
• Support your pastors' relay team as they "Run 4 Haiti." Checks may be made payable to "Shadyside Presbyterian Church" with "Haiti" in the memo line.  Please also remember to pray for your pastors!
