THE LEES Joe and Dawn Lee are our missionaries serving in New Mexico with the Navajo Indians. Joe and Dawn realized God was calling them to minister to the Native American Indians when they went on a MAP in the summer of 1986 in Arizona. In 1992 they began their missionary work with the Hopi Indians in that state, serving under Baptist Mid-Missions, Cleveland, Ohio. They later began working with the Navajo Indians in Vanderwagen, New Mexico, and are still serving there today. Joe pastors the Widefield Baptist Church in that city, ministering to the Navajo people. He and his wife Dawn have three children, Joe Jr., David and Rebekah. Don't forget to pray for them as well as all of our missionaries, by clicking on each missionary, read their newsletters and pray for their particular prayer requests. |
