We are looking forward for teachers having a chance to communicate directly with parents during Parent-Teacher conferences on November 4^th and 5^th.  We will send out the link today so that you can sign up for these electronically.

·      Conferences with classroom teachers will be 20 minutes long.

·      This year the art teacher, gym teacher and performing arts teacher will not be available for conferences. If any of these specialists have a message for you they will relay it to you through the classroom teacher.

·       Parents of 3^rd graders will have the opportunity to have conferences with both the classroom teacher and the English teacher. Conferences with the English teacher will be 10 minutes in length.

·      Parents of 4^th graders will receive messages about how a child is doing in English through the classroom teacher. Katie Stephens has 70 students and will focus her time on meeting with parents of 5^th and 6^th graders during this set of conferences. 

·      Parents of 5^th  and 6^th graders will be asked to register  for time in blocks  of 40 minutes instead of with individual teachers. You will notice on the registration form that there are several parallel blocks labeled for the grade and whether or not the student is in Spanish class or in Deutsch Plus. Four parents will register for four parallel blocks in the case of 5^th grade Spanish. During this block time, parents will rotate between the four different teachers who work with their child. Our hope is to make scheduling easier for you, rather than needing to schedule individual 10 minute blocks.
