Marvelous Maravista
Two-and-a-half years ago, I met a young couple in a convertible as they were driving around looking at houses. They were in front of a house with a "For Sale" sign and they were looking at the house and their cell phone, presumably at listing information.
I knew the house was already under agreement, and I hesitated about offering assistance, but in the end it seemed like a helpful thing to do. We had a delightful conversation. They welcomed my guidance, and within a couple of weeks they bought a really, really cute 4-bedroom house in Maravista.
Fast forward two years, and now they have 1-year-old twin boys and a complicated life. With some regret, they've concluded that this isn't quite the right time in their life to be managing a second home. So we've put it on the market at a very favorable price, in order to move it quickly.
By the way, this house is so nice that I've rented it for my summer guests. So you might say, I've lived in this house, too! We've all loved it. The four bedrooms are very spacious; the deck and fenced-in yard are among the nicest in the neighborhood; and the outdoor shower is the essence of outdoor showerdom.
In terms of location, it's around the corner from Shaw's, TJMaxx, and WalMart; a few blocks from my favorite path along Great Bay to the ocean; one mile from the soft sand and warm waters of Bristol Beach; and across the street from a new 10-acre park to be developed by the 300 Committee. Walking, running, kayaking, swimming, fishing, blissing out - it's all here. And I'd love to show it to you!
Call me if you or anyone you know would like to see it.
