What My Clients Are Saying... | |
"We would like to commend Nadine Krasnow for the wonderful job she did helping us find our vacation home. She tirelessly made herself available during the entire search, offer, inspection, purchase, and closing process. We viewed many homes, but she found us our dream cottage on the Cape. Nadine was a wealth of information, and her positive attitude and professionalism made her a joy to work with. Thank you, thank you, thank you."

My View (Lucky Me!) (Photo by Nadine) |
Spring on the Cape is sometimes an exercise in wishful thinking. Today, however, is a spectacular Spring day, and a girl's thoughts turn to summer on the water.
In that spirit, today's featured properties all have some water view, and they're all different. Let's take a look! |

East Side
Click on the image or address link below for more information about each home, or look for other homes on the Property Search of my website.
48 Milton Street is brand-spanking new on the market today. In marvelous Maravista, it's the last house on a dead-end street, overlooking Perch Pond and facing east for morning sunrises. Close to town, too! Here are the numbers: 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, 1225 interior sq.ft., 75-foot fixed dock, 50 feet from the water, and $40K a year in rental income. Asking $829,000.
152 Acapesket Road also faces east and has a dock,
but is on Green Pond. This home has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, 1632 interior sq.ft., and is on .86 acre. Renovated in 2005, it's like new. Just reduced, it's well-priced at $749,900.
Living at 23 Childs River Road would be like being at camp. An old-time knotty pine cottage with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, 1172 sq.ft., and on a half acre, you can sail from the house to Martha's Vineyard and beyond. Assessed at $734,600, the asking price is now $665,000.

32 Langley Road is on the beach on Gunning Point in Sippewissett, a very beautiful and exclusive setting. Yes, the house needs restoration, but it's like something from The Great Gatsby, including lush lawns and stone stairs that lead to your own private ocean beach. If $1.7 million is within your price range, this is a spectacular home. |

18 Keel De Sac is a sophisticated townhouse condo in The Boatyard on Falmouth Heights Rd. Because it faces the harbor, with its yachts, ferries, and dinghies coming and going, the view is endlessly fascinating. With 2 bed-rooms, 3 baths, 2247 sq.ft., and an asking price of $1,249,000, I think it's a little pricey. But hey - you can always make an offer!
Last but not least is a townhouse that the average
person could actually afford! Also downtown, but across the harbor from The Boatyard, 174 Queen Street #5C is a 2-bedroom, 3-bath, 1363 sq.ft. townhouse on Scranton Ave. It overlooks the bandstand, which has lively free summer concerts; it also is at the hub of harbor activity, and is almost next door to Windfall Market. You have all the conveniences of downtown AND the quintessential harbor location. All this for only $469,000! |

Most of you know that one of my great interests is photography. I'm very pleased that a couple of my images have been accepted into a juried show at the Cotuit Center for the Arts starting May 28.
Sponsored by the Cape Cod Museum of Art, I think it will be a particularly interesting show. Here are my images that were selected. Please stop by the Cotuit Center to see the others if you have a chance!
This particular image to the right also received an

I hope you enjoy viewing my images! (I have been dismayed, however, to find that some have been appropriated and used without attribution. Please respect my work and copyright. Thanks!) |
