Third Annual Conference: Oct 20th & 21st
Honoring and celebrating the collective human dead (both family and spiritual ancestors) is one critical component of earth-honoring ways of life, and the ancestors are an important source of support for navigating the changes to come.
Presenters include: Keynote speaker Ifa/Orisha priest Luisah Teish; Clan Mother Hua Anwa; Kali priest Chandra Alexandra; author & musician Thorn Coyle; Xhosa Sangoma John Lockley; Ohlone activist Gregg Castro, Sister Pamela Clare & Reverend Gary Ost; author & ceremonial leader Tom Pinkson, and others.
Similar to our previous two conferences, we'll explore our theme from an interfaith/multicultural perspective that includes dynamic interactive sessions & embodied ceremonies (Oct 20th) and inclusive, earth-honoring rituals on the land in and around San Francisco (Oct 21st).

John facilitates Ubuntu (humanity) workshops around the world, teaching people the ancient arts of dreaming, using medicinal plants and connecting with the ancestral/spirit world. He is also trained in Yoga, Zen Buddhism and clinical psychology. www.african-shaman.com.
