Valentine's Day Fundraiser
A Northland tradition is for the senior class to sell Valentine's Day gifts for delivery to students on Valentine's Day. This year, the senior class is adding a precious stuffed monkey for only $4. This year, the photos with Cupid will be sent to a specified email address. This will enable the recipient to make as many copies as they like! Sadie Hawkins Dance Friday, February 11 The junior class is sponsoring a Sadie Hawkins Valentines-themed dance on Friday, February 11 for middle and high school students. The price is $15 per couple and $10 for individuals. The dance will be from 7:30 - 10:30 in the NCS Gym with payment taken at the door. Dates of NCS students must have a parent-signed Release Form to attend. The forms can be picked up from Student Services or downloaded from the link above or the NCS website (Quick Links / forms / Release Form). The Dress Code is casual but modest . . . no spaghetti straps, no super short mini skirts!

Cougars Make the News
Literally! Each week Northland student's research, write, and produce a news broadcast of Northland events and happenings. The students spend time each week researching and gathering information for their news stories and then turn that information into a written story for the anchor to read.Each student is given a task on filming day ranging from controlling the camera to editing the footage.After the episode is recorded, it is then uploaded to Youtube for the entire Northland family to see. Students Build Academic Meet Website
Karen Wood and her technology class developed a Google website to contain Academic Meet information including upcoming academic meet dates, study materials, times, academic coaches, etc. Thanks to Shania Hunt, Shelby Tate, Dalton Johnson, Amanda Organ and Alexis Pope for creating this valuable resource for parents and students alike. NCS Choir Hosts 2nd Annual Forum for the Future
Fifteen NCS Choir Alums arrived at 7am to share what they have leared about life beyond high school. It was a great opportunity to reunite with friends and hear personal experiences about everything from study habits to dorm life.
