NCS Awarded Robotics Grant
 Northland Christian School robotics students and faculty members, along with over 91 Texas school districts, have been awarded a Texas Workforce Commission High School Competitive Robotics Education Team Development Program grant in the amount of $322,661. The purpose of the grant is to form new robotics teams across Texas and to foster an interest in STEM-related careers.
Middle school robotics coach, Debbie Whittington, recently attended three days of robotics professional development. Gail Lilly and Karen Wood coach the four high school teams comprised of sixteen students. The NCS robotics program also received a netbook computer, LEGO robotics materials and software, registration to an area robotics contest, and webinars with robotics experts.

COUGARS CAN!
|  | The Cougars Can Food Drive ends November 19.
All students can participate. Teachers will collect the non-perishable food items in individual classrooms, and Student Council representatives will collect the food. Parents may drop off non-perishable items in car pool or in any of the
school offices.
Thanks to everyone who is participating in our food drive. A rep from the food pantry encourages donation of following items.
