NCS Joins Northwest Chamber of Commerce
On Wednesday, October 27, representatives from the Northwest Chamber of Commerce were on our campus to officially welcome us as members of their organization. Pictured below participating in the official ribbon cutting ceremony are NCS Head of School, Buddy Ellisor, NCS Board of Trustees members Brian Louden and Eddie Martin and various NCS staff members and chamber members.
The Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization that promotes and supports the civic and business well being of our community.

The Cougars Need You!
With the Varsity Football Team's big win last Friday, there is a need for your help!
The playoff game will be held at Cougar Stadium this Friday night at 7:00 p.m. Volunteers are needed to work in the concession stand. Parents, this is a great opportunity to get to know other NCS parents and it's a lot of fun!
There are two shifts: 6:30 - Halftime OR Halftime - Game End Any length of time your could work would be greatly appreciated.

 NCS Debate Team Continues to Excel Northland's Debate and Public Speaking program prepares students for competition in interscholastic debate and speech tournaments against both public and private schools in Texas and nationally. COUGARS CAN!
|  | The Cougars Can Food Drive ends November 19.
All students can participate. Teachers will collect the non-perishable food items in individual classrooms, and Student Council representatives will collect the food. Parents may drop off non-perishable items in car pool or in any of the school offices.
Thanks to everyone who is participating in our food drive. A rep from the food pantry encourages donation of following items.
- canned meat (tuna, chicken, etc) - canned fruit - mac and cheese - rice - boxed cereal
We are on our way to filling the BUS with your donations!!

NCS Students at the Renaissance Festival
NCS students have been traveling in Mrs. Lane's Musical Time Machine to study music from the Middle Ages and Renaissance. They stopped by the Texas Renaissance Festival School Music Day to hear some wonderful singing, ham mered dulcimer, carillon, bagpipes and more!
