Fun with numbersTGIF!
TGIF stands for Talents and Gifts Investigations Fridays. These clubs are for students in grades 3-5. They meet on Friday afternoons from 2:30 - 3:30. The purpose of the clubs is to give kids the opportunity to explore different interests and to develop those interests further. Clubs are also an opportunity for our kids to be mentored by parent or community volunteers.

At right, In the TGIF club "Fun with Numbers", students put their sense of logic to work in a progressive activity called "Logix". They place geometric shapes in a pattern according to clues given. Students progress through the series at their own speed. They enjoy success and gain confidence with each card completed.

Below, students hone their cooking skills and show their enthusiasm for soccer with Coach Abt!

Cougars CanCougars Can!
Northland Christian School is kicking off its annual Cougars Can Food Drive! The food drive begins Nov. 1 and ends November 19.

Students at both campuses can participate. Teachers will collect the non-perishable food items in individual classrooms, and Student Council representatives will be coming around to collect the food.

Parents may drop off non-perishable items in car pool or in any of the school offices.

Our goal is to fill one entire school bus top to bottom with food. Donations will support the Northland Food Bank, the Houston Food Pantry and the Manna Food Bank. Every donation counts!!!

There will be an ice cream social for the elementary class who brings in the most cans per student. For preschool, the winning class will receive popsicles!
