"Pink Out" Sports Program
 The recent edition of the NCS Sports Program featured the NCS Secondary Cheerleaders in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. If you were unable to go to the game and purchase a copy, there is a limited supply available in the Cougar Store for $2.00 each. Thanks to JoAnne and Dan Long, parents of 7th grader Jessica, for donating their time and talents to produce the images for the cover.

New! Morning Tutoring Session
On the 4th Thursday of every month, (beginning this Thursday) from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., teachers will be available in their classrooms to provide tutoring to those students who may wish to receive additional help. Teachers may also require those who are not meeting minimum grade requirements in their subject to attend this tutorial time. This requirement will be communicated via email to the student and parent. This time can also be used to makeup tests or other missed assignments. Thursday tutorials will continue throughout the school year on the 4th Thursday of each month. Any questions regarding this new study opportunity should be directed to Mr. Kraner or your child's teacher.

Blood Drive a Success!
The NCS Student Council organized a Blood Drive which was held at the Secondary Campus last week. Many students and parents participated and donated a total of 50 units of blood. Many thanks to the Student Council for organizing the event and in particular, to the following students:
