Chocolate Touch Party
StrawberryThanks to all the parents who sent items and helped corral kids for the chocolate touch party. It was successful because our parents are awesome and never lack in generosity!

The students enjoyed bobbing for apples and having the chocolate touch with many different food items...some of them really had the chocolate touch and it seemed their faces, hands and arms turned to chocolate quickly. Let's just say the chocolate fountain was a HUGE success as well as the s'mores which had the students roasting marshmallows! Who knew we could make s'mores in a classroom!!

marshmallowsDon't worry - we had healthy food too! Strawberries (dipped in chocolate), bananas (covered in chocolate), graham crackers (with mallows and chocolate), nilla waffers (scooping chocolate) and pretzles (rolled in chocolate). Finishing off with chocolate ice cream covered in chocolate syrup and chocolate sprinkles made the day perfect!

Thanks to Mrs. Norwood and Mrs. Flowers for their flexibility with their day....and their classroom! Click here to view a slide show from the day.
