Biography Bottles
Northland's fourth grade reading students presented their biography bottle projects last week. The students read a biography book and gather specific information about the subject. Students write summaries about their books in order to share the subject's accomplishments and life information. The highlight of the project is always the "doll" each student creates to resemble their subject. It all begins with empty 2-liter bottles, but they quickly transform into amazing characters such as Claude Monet, J.K. Rowling, Ann Sullivan, Einstein, Muhammad Ali, and Elvis.
Events for this week:

Wednesday, Oct. 13:
8:15 a.m. --3rd Grade to Interactive Theater

Thursday, Oct. 14:
8:00 a.m. -- Chapel led by Mrs. Sampson's 4th grade class
