The Red Carpet Was Rocked!
The Hilton Houston North was the place to be Saturday night as Northland
Christian students "Rocked the Red Carpet."  The 2010 Homecoming Dinner and Dance drew nearly 200 high school students, donned in glittery gowns and striking suits. Students walked the red carpet where 4th Day Photography paparazzi, John-Mark Stephenson, snapped formal and candid pictures.

ballroomStudents entered the ballroom under the watchful eyes of Betty Davis, Elizabeth Taylor, Grace Kelly, James Dean and other classic Hollywood celebrity two dimensional photos. This star studded event included dance music selected by the student body and spun by the talented Mike Harvey of DJU Productions. Students enjoyed a delicious pasta and salad buffet followed by ice cream and an open candy bar.  Special thanks to Chairwoman, Kristen Brown and her committee of 8th grade parents who spent a good deal of time visiting the site, brainstorming and producing a wonderful decoration plan and scheme for this event. Kudos to the 8th grade students who spent their Saturday afternoon decorating the ballroom. These kids returned for clean-up duty following an evening of off-site activity at Lupe Tortilla and The Main Event in The Woodlands.

TH
ANK YOU NOTES FOR TEACHERS & STAFF

As par
t of our "Blessings" luncheon we would like to have students and parents write thank you notes for teachers and staff to let them know how much they mean to us.

On Tuesday, October 12, the Bible teachers will have a time for the students to write a thank you to their teacher or staff member of choice.

On Monday, October 18, we will have note cards available on a table in the cafeteria during the parent conferences for parents to write a brief note of appreciation. Please feel free to use your own note card and drop it by the table on your way to your parent conference meeting.

Thank you,
