Meet Deb Henson
MS Art

| Deb Henson has taught art classes and clubs for the last 11 years. She has worked in public schools (Hassler Elementary in the Klein ISD) and in private international schools (Jakarta International School) and most recently The American School of Doha. Mrs. Henson was the Friday Club Art teacher for 3rd - 5th graders at the Elementary Campus last year. She has an Associates Degree in Child Development from Midland College. She is the Children's Ministry Director at The Church of Creek's End and has over 15 years experience working with children and youth around the world.
Mrs. Henson teaches that art is fun, exciting, and that everyone is an artist. She enjoys challenging kids and at the same time teaching them that God has made each of them unique and blessed with talents. She loves watching kids learn that being creative isn't something they have to do -- it's something they want to do -- not only in the art classroom, but in all of life.

Spotlight on . . . Middle School Art
 Deb Henson is Northland's Middle School Art teacher. Her students are already making their mark at NCS! While learning about
the "Elements" and "Principles of Design" and various artists they are
showing their amazing creativity.
Take
a stroll through Building 7 and check out the Mixed Up People, Art
Eyes, Cardboard Reliefs, Mixed Media Lines, Radial Designs, and "Drawing
with Scissors" collages.
