Greetings!
A few weeks ago, I attended the opening for Espresso Book Machine at the Sacramento Library. I am thrilled that we have this resource in our community for our literary and other artists to go crazy with! Here's some information about the Press:
I Street: A Community Press and Writing Center is pioneering a new form of publishing and writing services in Northern California. They provide independent authors, students, family and community historians, businesses, associations and community organizations with the tools and skills they need to write, edit, design and publish quality books, graphic novels and journals. At the heart of I Street is the Espresso Book Machine, a book robot that prints, binds and trims a bookstore quality paperback in less time than it takes to brew a cup of...well, espresso.

Big thanks to the many of you who took the time to let me know you like our new logo!
Warm regards, Rhyena Halpern, Executive Director Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission |
