SMAC UpdateSeptember 12, 2011

Greetings!

As we zoom to finish the installation of the public art at the airport, excitement is building. The Sacramento Bee published a great article, which made it to the front page, in this Sunday's paper. I hope you will read it here.

Don't forget to go to our website to see photos and read about the artists and the projects. You will also find a fact sheet that clarifies the budget for the public art, where the funding comes from, the role of local artists, the selection process and the big question about 'why a red rabbit'. You can go directly there by clicking here.

Most importantly, I hope you will come out on Oct. 2, between 10am-4pm, when tours of the new Terminal and its art will be offered. For reservations visit here.

Warm regards,

Rhyena Halpern, Executive Director
