Greetings! 

 

I am very excited to announce the winners of the Arts Innovation Fund! The extraordinary creative vitality of Sacramento's arts community has been instrumental in sustaining the arts through the current economic crisis. With this in mind, the Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission and the Sacramento Region Community Foundation have partnered to reward innovative strategies employed by arts organizations through the Arts Innovation Fund (AIF) program for the second year.

 

The 2011 winners are:

  • First Place - $10,000, Verge Center for the Arts
  • Second Place (tie) - $5,000, B Street Theatre
  • Second Place (tie) - $5,000, Center for Contemporary Art Sacramento (CCAS)
  • Third Place - $4,000, Sacramento Poetry Center
