SMAC UpdateMay 31, 2011

Greetings!

As you know, over the last three fiscal years, SMAC's budget has been reduced by 62% and faces further cuts in the coming year. We need your help once more to let our elected officials know the value and importance of SMAC's support to your organization and the impact of the arts on our community. Last year $150,000.00 was restored to our budget as a result of public support.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

Please take the time to sign your name to the petition to support SMAC and then forward the petition link to your supporters and everyone you know in the arts community.

Join us at the County Budget Hearing on June 7th, 2pm, in the Board Chambers of the County Administration Building (700 H Street, Sacramento), and wear an Arts. Open Daily button to show your support. SMAC will have buttons available for you when you arrive.

Thank you,

Carlin Naify
