Arts Learning in Action

3-Dimensional Rain Forest Mural
25 children at Glenwood Elementary School learned about both visual arts and science when they created a 3-D rain forest with teaching artist, Sue Anne Foster. Partially funded by a SMAC Microgrant, the children created the 3-D mural so plants and animals could be arranged and rearranged to simulate life in the rain forest.
Glenwood School is one of many schools in the region committed to doing all they can in these challenging times to provide arts experiences for their students.
