SMAC UpdateNovember 29, 2010
Greetings!

The holiday shopping season has begun! Shop at Barnes & Noble at Arden Fair Mall to benefit SMAC! The B&N SMAC Book Fair will take place on Dec. 12, and online Dec. 13 through Dec. 17. A portion of the proceeds will support arts education programs, arts experiences for youth and clients of community organizations, and professional development opportunities for artists and educators. Click here for details.

This year, consider making local arts-related purchases for your family and friends. The options are diverse - tickets to performances, work by local artists, art classes and workshops, even clothing such as the Pizza as Art shirts from Hot Italian. Giving an arts gifts means you are giving a unique present and you are helping to support the arts community in Sacramento. Go to www.sacramento365.com for a listing of local arts organizations and art galleries.
