SMAC UpdateNovember 8, 2010
Greetings!

Welcome to the start of days of waning light as we enter the holiday season.

Our wonderful online event calendar, sacramento365.com, highlighted Arts Open October events.  Please watch for our new calendar features this month including Tix-Fix discount ticketing, widgets for your organization and calendar compatibility with your mobile phone.

There are many exciting happenings in November as well and we hope you will post and find events on our calendar this month.  November also marks the launch of the implementation phase of For Arts Sake.  Mayor Kevin Johnson would like to invite you to join him at the Crocker Museum Auditorium (216 O Street), November 12 from 10:00AM - 11:30AM.  Rocco Landesman, Chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts, will be featured. The event is free, but you'll need to RSVP to faslaunch@gmail.com by Wednesday, November 10.

Also, please note that the SMAC office will be closed this Thursday and Friday, November 11 and 12.
