Airport exhibit - GolikVisit the Exhibit at the Airport Gallery
On the Go: The Traveling Sketchbooks of Artists, Architects and Poets

The exhibit is now open at the Sacramento International Airport Art Gallery and runs through January 3, 2011.  The exhibition includes sketches in a variety of mediums by artists Gina Werfel and Hearne Pardee, both University of California, Davis Art professors, Sacramento artists Gregory Kondos, Stephanie Taylor, and Theo Samuels, Napa area architect Jay Golik and Julia Connor, Sacramento Poet Laureate 2005-2009. The exhibition can be seen in 10 display cases throughout Terminal B (6 of which are restricted to ticketed passengers).  Read More>

Macy Mural Second Saturday Public Art Tours
October Tour

We had a successful Second Saturday public art tour in September, viewing the bronze sculptures of the downtown area.

Come join us for the next tour on Saturday, October 9th from
1 - 3pm. We will learn about the contribution of Chicano artists to public art, and see art at Downtown Plaza, Plaza Park, and the Convention Center.  Reservations required by October 7.  Learn more>
