I know you have heard me rabbiting on about the wonders of interval training many, many times!
Well, here I go again! And this time I am backed up by the wonders of the Tabloid media (so it must be true).... But seriously, I saw this article in the paper on the weekend and thought you might be interested. It talks all about the virtues of training of hard, fast and (mercifully) short over long, slow distances...
I know that some of you have been making some SERIOUS nutrition and exercise changes lately in an attempt to get the most out of your training - and shed a few pesky kilo's in the process. I applaud your efforts - it isn't easy, especially in winter when the urge to consume bucket loads of comfort food is almost overwhelming! Keep up the good work - it will be worth it - and I will be there every step of the way (like a guilty conscience sitting on your shoulder!!). |
