Polly Murphy- Every Member Get a Member Winner

Polly Murphy was recently chosen as September's winner for the Every Member Get a Member Campaign. Polly is an active SOCM member who serves on our Board of Directors.

Next month's winner will receive some very exclusive and swanky SOCM gear!

Here's how it works. Every time a SOCM member recruits a new member, the recruiter's name is put into a drawing.  The more times you recruit, the greater the chances that your name will be drawn in the EMGM campaign. To have your recruiting efforts recognized, email info@socm.org or be sure that your name is on SOCM's membership envelope as the recruiter.

Old-Timey Barbeque in DC a Success

 Fundraiser Expected to Bring

in $5,000

On Saturday, September 24th, SOCM members and staff gathered at the home of Betty Jean Hall in Fairfax, Va., to dine, play and talk some SOCM. The turnout was good for our Washington-based friends and they enjoyed exceptional food and wonderful weather.

"It was a privilege to host the DC-area houseparty for such an inspiring group," Hall said. "Not to mention, it was just plain fun working with Linda Cowan, Ann League and Hambone Sweets to make this happen and meeting the fine folks who came. Carry on!"
